Flash Stick Figure Animation

To create my Flash stick figure animation I started by making 9 layers for the background, floor, doors, furniture, toys, head, body, legs and meteor. I used the rectangle tool to make doors in the door layer, a shelf in the furniture layer and the wall in the background layer. I made the separate parts of the stick figure using the line tool and the oval tool. Every 20 to 30 frames I would move the figure and make the legs different as if the figure were walking. The stick figure is walking from their room then to the kitchen on a normal day. In the third room which is the living room the stick figure jumps with joy and that is when a meteor hits the stick figure. The stick figure gets burnt and disintegrates. To get the figure to look like it disintegrates I changed the alpha of the figure from 100% to 50% then to 0%. I made the shapes into symbols and had a motion tween on them so the symbols move.

Stick Figure & Eraser Villain Animated GIF

Stick Figure & Eraser Villain Animated GIF

I created my animated GIF by first creating a new frame in the Pages and Layers and Frames and History bar on the left hand side of the Adobe Fireworks Program when the program is opened. The canvas was 700 by 700 pixels with a resolution of 200. I made the background using the rectangle tool and I made the rectangle light blue. The fence was made using the arrow tool with a light tan color and a lighter tan outside stroke. The stick figure man was made using the elipse tool for the head and eyes and the rectangle tool for the limbs. The bottom part of the canvas had a gray rectangle which was the side walk. The eraser villain was made using the rectangle tool and using the skew tool the rectangle looked more like an eraser. I did the same with the cape only the cape was black. I changed the leg movement in each frame so the stick figure looked like it was walking and after a while I removed parts of the fence so it looked like he was walking away.

ECHS Business and Membership Cards

ECHS Business Cards

To create this business card I made a rectangle using the rectangle tool the size of the canvas which is 300 by 200 pixels with a solid gray fill. I copied the logo from teacher webpage onto the rectangle and using the fill tool I filled the background the same gray as the background fill. I erased the text on the logo and made my own text to match the font of the information. Below I had the phone number, location, hours or operation and email. The rectangle itself had a outside stroke of creamy pastel.

To create this business card I made a rectangle using the rectangle tool the size of the canvas which is 300 by 200 pixels with a linear gradient fill of brown and black. I copied the logo from teacher webpage onto the rectangle and using the fill tool I filled the background the same brown as the background fill. The outline of the barn I filled black with the fill tool to stand out. Below I had the phone number, location, hours or operation and email. The rectangle has a black outside stroke.
To create this business card I made a rectangle using the rectangle tool the size of the canvas which is 300 by 200 pixels with a solid tan color. I copied the logo from teacher webpage onto the rectangle and using the fill tool I filled the background of the logo the same tan as the background fill.  Below I had the phone number, location, hours or operation and email centered. The rectangle has a thin peach colored outside stroke.

                            ECHS Membership Cards

To create this membership card I made two rectangles the top one for the front of the card and the bottom for the back using the rectangle tool the size of the canvas which is 300 by 400 pixels with a solid light peach color. I copied the logo from teacher webpage onto the top rectangle and using the fill tool I filled the background of the logo the same light peach color as the background fill. Below I had the mission of the Entiat Community Historical Society. Below on the bottom rectangle I had space for the ECHS member name, member number, member signature, phone number and email centered. The rectangle has a thin black outside stroke.

To create this membership card I made two rectangles the left one for the front of the card and the right for the back using the rectangle tool. They were the size of the canvas which is 600 by 200 pixels with a solid light tannish brown color. I copied the logo from teacher webpage onto the left rectangle and using the fill tool I filled the background of the logo the same light tannish brown as the background fill. Below I had the mission of the Entiat Community Historical Society. On the right rectangle I had space for the ECHS member name, member number, member signature, and email. The rectangle has a thin light brown outside stroke.

To create this membership card I made two rectangles the top one for the front of the card and the bottom for the back using the rectangle tool. They were size of the canvas which is 300 by 400 pixels. Online I found a picture of the red wood used for barns and pasted them into the rectangle with the bottom rectangle having the wood rotated.  I copied the logo from teacher webpage onto the top rectangle and using the fill tool I filled the background of the logo the same red as the background. I erased the text of the logo and used the same font used for the information. I made the outline of the farm whtie using the fill tool so it is better to see against the red. Below I had the mission of the Entiat Community Historical Society. Below on the bottom rectangle I had space for the ECHS member name, member number, member signature, and email. The rectangle has a thin black outside stroke.

John Deere Redesign and Business Card

                       Story Board Redesign:

To create my story I made my canvas larger so I had enough space to make six rectangles using the rectangle tool. Using the website http://kuler.adobe.com  I found colors which you could change your font color and stock color to if you didn't agree with the colors.
                                                        Business Card:

To create my business card I made a square box the size of the canvas. Using the website  http://kuler.adobe.com I found different colors to use for the background and font color. I pasted the logo redesign that I had made before in the middle of the square. Using the font type Adobe Caslon Pro I made the address, phone number, website and name with a font color of a forestry green. I place the website and email on one side and the address and phone number on the other is side.

Company Logo

The logos on the left are four original logos for John Deere. On the right is the John Deere logo I created. The background was made using three rounded rectangles each a different color. I used a rounded rectangle since the original logos had a similar background. I gave the farthest rectangle a linear gradient with colors green and yellow. The second farthest rectangle is a solid brown color. The main background is dark green and white with a linear gradient. Using the text tool I created the text and then converted the text to paths and ungrouped the text. The John part of the name I gave a linear gradient with colors light green and yellow with a point 1 light brown stroke. The Deere part of the name I gave a linear gradient with colors sunflower yellow and brown with a point 1 light brown stroke. The deer I found online and pasted a tractor picture I found online so the deer had a tractor type look since John Deere sells tractors. I made the letters side ways at an angle since the letters on the original logo are usually horizontal and I didn't want to exactly copy the logo.

Black Swan Business Cards

                                                                Professional:

This business card is my professional business card. There isn't too much on the card. It's neat and nothing on it is disgusting and too much. I flipped both swans and put a linear gradient on them with colors of black and dark red so both swans looked mad and as if they didn't get along. The background is pink because the card is about marriage counseling and in the end you want the marriage to be happy and for them to love each other. The title is has a black font, it is readable and is underlined which all makes the title look neat and clean.

Mid-level:

This business card is my mid-level business card. The card doesn't have a lot of work done on it but its not professional. The swan has a picture of waves pasted inside. The surf board was made using the elipse tool. I made the gradient linear with colors or blue and yellow. I changed the font color to dark blue for the information so it would be a little hard to see. The background is a rectangle with a light blue fill so all the colors seem alike.

                                          Unprofessional:

This business card is my unprofessional business card. The card has too much going on and the colors don't exactly work together. I made the font chiller since it's a butcher shop and it's harder to read. I made the background a gradient of waves with colors black and white. On top of that I made a smaller square with a contour gradient with colors yellow which is really bright and annoying and a red. I made the fonts for the information different fonts and font colors so it looks unprofessional. Using the slice tool I made the swan's head look like it was cut off and changed the head to the color purple. In the top left corner is a smaller swan that looks as if it is running away since the card is for a butcher shop.
