Pointillism Color Wheel

To create my pointillism color wheels I started by opening the template of the color wheels. I then made four new layers for a brush tip of 30, 20, 10 and 5. I used the brush tool and changed the tip to 30 and the stroke to pencil 1-hard tip. I clicked on the color picker and put the cursor over the first color of the color wheel and clicked that color. I then clicked to make a dot. I did this until the whole section was  filled using dots. I did this for each section of the color wheel changing colors accordingly then changed the tip to 20 and repeated those steps all over and did the same for a tip of 10 and 5.

Film Strip

To create my film strip I started by opening the picture I saved. Using the crop tool I made a square around an area. Then I copied that and opened a new canvas. I made a square and pasted the picture inside. I did this for the rest of the picture only having more squares, rectangles, and rotated squares and rectangles. I made the border of each film strip a different thickness so you could tell where the squares were and so there was a variation of different film strips.

Face

Mokey Wilson

To create my face I first started by using the elipse tool to create a circle. I used the free form on the circle so the face didn't look to round.
I used the I eyes I had already made and changed them a bit. I made eye lids for the eyes and made the eyes look more like eyes and less like circles.
For the nose I made an oval then using the sub select tool I made the oval look like a nose by giving the oval nostrils and shape.
The hair was made b making small ovals and giving the ovals a gradient of folds with light and dark brown. The mustache was the same color only that the mustache has a linear gradient.
The skin had a linear gradient with the main color being a peach skin color and the lower color being a grayish brown giving the appearance that Mokey had just shaved. The neck was made using a rectangle with the same colors and gradients.
I made the ears my making circles then using the free from tool I gave the circles the shape of an ear.
For the lips I made small ovals and using the sub select tool I stretched the ovals and gave the tips a point. I did the same for the bottom lip and in the middle I did the same only making the color darker to look like the person had a tongue.

Eye

I created my eye by first creating the eye lids. I used the elipse tool to create the eye lids then using the free form tool I stretched eye lid out. I made the fill a linear gradient with two different colors. Very light brown and skin color. The Iris I created by using the elipse tool to make the circle. I then made the circle two different shades of blue with a cone gradient. To make the pupil I made a circle using the eclipse tool then made the gradient linear with colors gray and black. I made a smaller circle using the eclipse tool white and below the pupil so the eye had a shine effect as real eyes do. I made the eyelashes by using the line tool then the free form tool to bend the lines. I just copied and pasted many eyelashes. For the eyebrow I made a square and made the fill a pattern. Then using the free form tool I curved the square so it looked like an eyebrow.

Spot Color

Rain Tree:
To spot color the the rain tree I used the magic wand tool and increased the tolerance to get big areas. I then zoomed in and decreased the tolerance to get the smaller areas that were harder. I made the everything besides the tree sepia tone which is under creative which is in the commands at the top tool bar.

     Sunset:
My landscape was the sunset. To spot color the sunset I used the wand tool and since there aren't many objects it was pretty easy to spot color the sun. I left the tolerance the same and got the water and sky then slowly made my way around the sun. Everything besides the tree was gray scale which is under creative which is under commands at the top toolbar.

                                                                      Red Squirrel:
To spot color the red squirrel I used the lasso tool and made big sections gray scale. To get the rest of the squirrel I zoomed in as much as I could and used both the lasso and magic wand tool to get the small edges that were hard to get at normal. Gray scale was under creative which was under commands at the top tool bar.
